La Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO), guidata dal Prof. Antonio Giordano, in collaborazione con la Texas Scientific Italian Community (TSIC), guidata dal Prof. Andrea Giuffrida, presenta la XVII Conferenza dei Ricercatori Italiani nel Mondo sabato 1 aprile dalle 9:30 alle 15:00 presso la Temple University di Philadelphia. Il tema dell’incontro “Il ruolo dei ricercatori italiani nel mondo”

Sono previsti gli interventi di venti relatori e il saluto di rapresentanti delle Istituzioni italiani presenti negli Stati Uniti.  L’incontro è dedicato al ruolo e al contributo delle Associazioni dei ricercatori italiani nel mondo nell’ambito dell’ Aerospazio, Medicina, Fisica, Innovazioni tecnologiche, Intelligenza artificiale, Robotica, Scienze naturali, Bio e nanotecnologie, Ingegneria, Energia e Scienze Umanistiche.

Saranno presenti il Rettore della Temple University e Laura H. Carnell Professor of Law, Gregory N. Mandel, il Console Generale d’Italia a Philadelphia, Cristiana Mele, oltre a funzionari italiani e italiani in visita provenienti da vari settori e background professionali.

L’evento permetterà inoltre ai ricercatori partecipanti residenti in varie parti del mondo di potersi collegare in VTC e potrà essere seguito dal pubblico in live-streaming all’indirizzo FB: https://www.facebook.com/TXSIC a partire dalle 9.30 ora locale, 15.30 ora di Roma. Il lavoro di ricerca dei partecipanti sarà incluso in un libro dedicato alla conferenza.

The Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO), led by Prof. Antonio Giordano, in collaboration with the Texas Scientific Italian Community (TSIC), led by Prof. Andrea Giuffrida, will present the XVII Conference of Italian Researchers in the Worldon Saturday April 1st from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Temple University of Philadelphia.

Forty speakers will address the conference, including welcomes and institutional greetings, discussion of the role of the Associations of Italian researchers in the world, and topics on Aerospace, Medicine, Physics, Technological innovations, artificial intelligence, Robotics, natural sciences, bio and nanotechnologies, engineering, energy, and humanities.

In attendance will be the Provost of Temple University and Laura H. Carnell Professor of Law, Gregory N. Mandel, Consul General of Italy in Philadelphia, Cristiana Mele, as well as visiting Italian officials and Italians from various fields and occupational backgrounds.

The event will also allow participating researchers residing in various parts of the world to be able to connect in VTC, and can be followed by the public in live-streaming at the FB address: https://www.facebook.com/TXSIC starting at 0930 EST, 1530 Rome time. In addition, the participants’ research work will be included in a book dedicated to the conference.

“I thank my friend Prof. Antonio Giordano, and Temple University for hosting the event,” says  Vincenzo Arcobelli founder and Chairman of the Conference. “For 20 years with Giordano, we have shared ideas, initiatives, such as that of promoting young researchers, bilateral agreements between Italian and American entities, and in having supported him in social, civil, and environmental battles such as that of ‘the land of fires’ in South Italy.”
